At the young age of 62, Mike, who is in public relations and makes personal appearances for seminars, knows he needs to be on the upper hand with his looks in a competitive market. In public relations, looks are your credentials, and while Mike doesn’t want to look 20 or 40 years younger necessarily, he just wants to look the best he can.

So he has come to The Masters Clinic, where Dr. Leslie Masters is going to perform the CosmoLift on Mike. Different from the traditional face lift, the CosmoLift is less expensive, less invasive and is done usually within an hour at The Masers Clinic on an out patient basis. To the unknown eye, you won’t be able to tell Mike has had anything done to his face.

Prior to the procedure, Dr. Masters takes pictures of Mike for his “before” pictures. Then as the video shows, Dr. Masters talks through the procedure explaining it step-by-step and Mike is fully awake and aware of what’s going on. Even though Mike is conscious and can ask questions, he only feels slight pulling and pushing as the procedure is performed. There is very slight bleeding at the incisions, but no pain for Mike.

First Dr. Masters numbs two areas on both sides of Mike’s head, warning him that the he may feel some burning as she injects the medicine into his head. As soon as he is numb and can’t feel anything, Dr. Masters begins to go to work. She is explains that she will be lifting up the jaw line, smooth out the area around the nasal and lift up the brow area.

In approximately one hour, the procedure is done with no bruising or swelling. Mike is sent home with some pain pills and after a day of rest he will be good to go about his normal schedule and routine and the ‘after’ pictures are soon to follow. As Mike says, he just wants to look the best he can for his age in the competitive market he works and there is some ego there too.
